You can’t go wrong with this crowd pleasing party dip. It’s fantastic with chips, veggies, and crackers. You can even spread it on your hamburgers as a yummy topping! It comes together quickly and stores well for several days.
You can make our Silly Goose Spinach Dip fully loaded by adding chopped spinach and/minced garlic. This dip also makes a great stuffing for mushrooms caps (see recipe here).
Silly Goose Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip
Here's what you'll need:
Whipped cream cheese, 16oz tub
Sour cream, 8oz-16oz
1c shredded cheddar or mixed cheese
1 package ranch seasoning mix
Crumbled bacon (about 1/2c or 3-4 slices)
Optional ingredients:
Chopped spinach
Minced garlic
Instructions
Mix together whipped cream cheese and sour cream in large bowl. Add in ranch seasoning packet. Stir in shredded cheese and crumbled bacon ( if adding spinach and/or garlic add now - be sure spinach is well drained/pressed out for excess water). Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy!
Tips from your Top Goose
This dip only gets better with time as the ingredients sit so I recommend making at least an hour or two before serving (even the day before you're able).
Switch it up and spread this dip in a mushroom caps (with or without crumbled burger meat, mix in more shredded cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20m or until mushrooms are softened. See recipe here.
